These programs prepare attendees with no prior innkeeping experience to successfully manage an independent lodging property during the owner/manager’s absence. You will learn the duties and responsibilities of an interim innkeeper including breakfast service, efficiently managing your day, taking reservations, housekeeping, utilizing tech & apps, handling sticky situations , and more.
Option 1: Five in Five Virtual Interim Innkeeper Workshop offers the flexibility of online learning over a period of five weeks. Weekly 2-hour sessions are scheduled to tackle each area of focus, with assignments to be completed between each session. All sessions are considered one-on-one learning experiences with the content designed to prepare you for Interim Innkeeping engagements. The start date is scheduled to meet your schedule.
Fees: $1,500 - A confirmation and invoice with payment instructions will be sent directly to you upon registration.
Option 2: Interim Innkeeper Bootcamp is a hands-on, immersive program that occurs over 3 days, limited to a maximum of 6 attendees, set at selected small lodging properties where you will stay and work throughout the entire bootcamp.
The bootcamp fee includes personalized instruction, a workbook, and (2) lunches. The Inn provides breakfast each morning and daytime beverages. Dinner on Friday evening is not included so suggestions will be made and typically all attendees go to dinner together at an area restaurant.
Attendees should check-in at 2 pm as the workshop will begin at 3:00 PM. Please plan to depart after 1:00 PM on the final day.

Lodging is not included in the bootcamp fee and it is required that you stay at the property to gain the full experience. A 25% discount is offered for additional room nights booked beyond the required three nights and must be requested at the time of booking. You must call to book your room within one week of confirmation. Do not attempt to book online in advance since rooms are blocked.
Pre-Requisite: You must have attended a one day or beginning workshop or an approved substitute.
Fees: $899.00 for one person and $599.00 for a second related person or person from the same property. A confirmation and invoice with payment instructions will be sent directly to you upon verification of the pre-requisite. Credits cards may be used for payment with a 3.25% fee added.
Cancellation Policy for both offerings: If you must cancel your registration, please contact me immediately. Workshops are limited in the number of attendees so you must cancel 45 days prior to receive a refund. Any cancellation received within 45 days prior to the workshop will be refunded only if the space is rebooked. A $100 cancellation fee will be deducted from any refund. Lodging cancellations will be governed by the inn’s cancellation policy.
