The Center for Leadership & Social Change invites you to participate in this year's Multicultural Leadership Summit by registering for attendance and participation at this year’s summit.
The Multicultural Leadership Summit focuses on a foundation of knowledge that will enhance student success in leadership in the areas of multiculturalism, diversity and social justice. The goal is to educate students on diversity and multiculturalism and empower them to be agents of social change in an increasingly diverse and global community. The theme for this year’s summit is “Dumping the Melting Pot: Embracing the Mosaic”.
This year with our theme of "Dumping the Melting Pot: Embracing the Mosaic", one of our main goals is to have participants learn ways to engage in opportunities to take action and create change with their communities around issues they are passionate about. Through the conference, we will focus on maintaining one’s core identity, building community, and creating social change. The summit will also be focusing with an emphasis in intersectionality in the areas of: Race, Ethnicity, and Nationality Sex, Gender, and Sexual Orientation Access, Class, and Ability Leadership and Service

When? Friday, January 27th, 2017 from 3:30-6:30PMSaturday, January 28th, 2017 from 8:00AM-5:30PM
Where?The summit will be taking place in three buildings which are very close in proximity: Dunlap Success Center, Global and Multicultural Engagement Building, and the Askew Student Life Center
**In order to attend the summit, you must be available both days**
