The Arts Network Sutton (ANS) Executive Committee is excited to be working in partnership with Counterpoints Arts, to review our operations and improve our fundraising potential. Our aim is to enhance what we offer to our Members and the wider community.
We want to begin this consultation process by collecting feedback from you to help inform our work in the future. Whether you're a Member past or present, or someone who sees the importance of the arts and cultural scene in our borough - your voice is important to us.
This work is crucial if we collectively want to grow the Network and its role in the local community. We would like to reaffirm our commitment to our Members and the creative community and work with you to re-imagine the way we engage with each other.
We really appreciate your time spent on this and all the feedback you can give. We estimate it will take around 20-30 minutes to answer all the questions.
The deadline for receiving your response is Friday 3rd November.
Your feedback will be shared with Dijana Rakovic, Senior Producer at Counterpoints Arts, who is working with us towards fundraising for the period 2023 to 2025. The results of this consultation with you all will be put into an anonymised report and shared with our strategic partners. The initial outcomes of this consultation will be shared at our next AGM in November.
Our constitution states that Arts Network Sutton (ANS) aims to promote, champion, nurture and act as a voice for the diverse range of arts in the London Borough of Sutton (LBS). As a registered charity, ANS seeks to engage more local residents in cultural activities, particularly the arts, and support an increase in arts activities.
We are a voluntary organisation headed by an Executive Committee.
We organise networking events and training sessions for our members and lead on targeted projects such as the annual Youth Arts Exhibition in partnership with LBS and local schools. Central to our work is our grants giving programme to enable our members to deliver art projects benefiting the local community.
As this is an opportunity for you to provide feedback and suggest any changes, we are curious to know how you perceive the governance and operations of ANS. We would like to hear what we do well and where improvements can be made.
