Your title should clearly describe the topic of your paper even when listed without your abstract.

200 words or less. Abstracts should include each of the following elements: 1) a clear statement of your topic and argument; 2) major concepts, data, and literature that your work engages; 3) the contribution of your work to the practice and/or study of mission, and (ideally) the conference theme. Preference will be given to proposals that clearly articulate how the topic and argument relate to the theme of the conference, but we will consider other high-quality proposals as well.
