Rock-N-Stroll Artist Submission 2025 [Saturday, August 23rd, 11pm-4pm]
The Rockridge District Association is once again hosting the Rockridge Rock-N-Stroll this August 23 (part of which is an annual Art Bazaar)! We are excited to be showcasing local artists of all kinds (visual and music)! If you are interested in being paired with a local business, please submit a request by FRIDAY AUGUST 1, 2025

Once we have collected hosting information from our merchants, we will make recommended pairings — based on mission/values, space requests, and style — and connect you to each other for further planning by WEDNESDAY AUGUST 13, 2025

Looking forward to highlighting the many artists in our community!

Note:  While we will do our best to accommodate every artist applying, we may have to limit depending on merchant interest. Submitting your information does not guarantee participation.

Event Date:  August 23, 2025
Event Times:  Art Bazaar 11am - 4pm  | Rock-N-Stroll All Day, but primarily 11am-4pm
Event Location:  Inside/Outside businesses located in the Rockridge District (primarily College Avenue from Alcatraz to Broadway) of Oakland, California.

What to Know:  This event is for artists across a range of mediums (such as clay, wood, paint, fabric, charcoal, etc.) and creation techniques (such as sculpture, printmaking, watercolor, or pottery). Artists that can accommodate a small footprint (ie., 29" x 72" folding table only) have the best chance of being selected to participate. Artists will provide all of their own setup; only space is provided (if businesses have anything to share, we will provide that information). Outdoor setups will not have shade cover or tent covers; you will be positioned on sidewalks where ample room for pedestrian foot traffic needs to be maintained at all times. No generators are allowed and most locations do not have electricity available. No food or beverage vending is allowed. Artists are responsible for their products; the event organizer and business hosts are not liable for any broken, damaged, or stolen items. Rain/wind could impact outdoor locations (though August is typically nice); however outdoor locations tend to get more foot traffic.

Musicians can fill out the band submission form for consideration: here. Do not use this form.

About the Event Organizer:  The Rockridge Rock-N-Stroll is produced by the Rockridge District Association. However, if you participate in the Art Bazaar, you will be coordinating directly with a business owner in the district. Questions can be directed to marketing@rockridgedistrict.com.
