FOOD POEM & DRY THEIR TEARS: VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION LIST
It’s that time of the year again & Modern Mindset Life Coaching, LLC,  has partnered with The Modern Griot Corporation 501(c)(3)  to kick off the 6th Annual "FOOD POEM" and inaugural "DRY THEIR TEARS" community initiative. 

Each Saturday in November (excluding 11/18/23), we will travel throughout South Pinellas County, feeding those that are un-housed. However, we can’t do this alone, and welcome your support! We are currently seeking helpful volunteers and perishable/non-perishable food donations to help make this giveback a success. 

FOOD POEM: FEEDING DATES
  • NOVEMBER 04, 2023: Northwestern Mutual-  700 Central Ave #300, St. Petersburg, FL 33701 (11:00 AM -  2:00 PM)
  • NOVEMBER 11, 2023: Urban Drinkery- 2184 9th Ave S STE B, St. Petersburg, FL 33712  (11:00 AM -  2:00 PM)
  • NOVEMBER 25, 2023: Lake Vista Rec Center- 1401 62nd Ave S, St. Petersburg, FL 33705 (11:00 AM -  2:00 PM)

DRY THEIR TEARS CAMPAIGN:
Established in 2022 by The Modern Griot Corporation, our mission is to support Tampa Bay families during the holiday season. With your invaluable assistance, we provide Food, Toys, Books, Clothes, Hygiene, and Health-related items to those facing adversity. We proudly collaborate with local businesses and non-profit organizations who share our unwavering commitment to the community. In 2022, we made significant strides by extending a helping hand to CASA and partnering with FOOD POEM to provide nourishment to 150 people. In 2023, we're expanding our outreach to assist families in need while also focusing on empowering teenagers at Brookwood & Carlton Manor with BIPOC-specific hygiene and hair-care items.
