Housing at Gen Con

The MGC is working to obtain as much housing as possible for our game runners and our volunteers. However, since Gen Con does not confirm GM housing for event runners until July, we cannot guarantee that we will have enough housing (especially downtown housing) for the entire Gen Con 2024 team.

Game runners will have first dibs on available MGC housing, followed by volunteers at the Master level, followed by volunteers at the Journeyman level, followed by volunteers at the Apprentice level, with Recruits having last dibs. Any housing we provide will require payment (minus Master and Journeyman subsidies) and we may ask you to share a bed with another person or be OK with a cot/mattress on the floor.

We strongly encourage you to obtain your own housing, if possible - it's the only way to truly guarantee you will have a place to stay.
