Hifdh Buddy Scheme

[Surah Al-Qamar 54:17]

وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍۢ
And We have certainly made the Qur’an easy to remember. So is there anyone who will remember?

Introducing the ISoc Hifdh Buddy Scheme!

The Hifdh Buddy scheme has been designed for all of us who are on a memorisation journey with the Qur’an; from those who want to begin but don't know where to start all the way to the huffadh looking to perfect their hifdh.

The purpose of a hifdh buddy is not only to equip you with the accountability needed to keep you progressing on your journey, but to also provide you with the moral support needed to keep you committed in this sacred venture towards Allah (swt).

How will it work?
1. Fill in the form below to allow us to match you with someone who is at a similar level and pace as you.
2. Join our introductory session to meet and get to know your hifdh buddy.
3. Start (or continue) on your journey!

Every month we will be holding a mandatory zoom session (timings TBC) where we will be bringing along experienced hifdh mentors to provide you with some support, tips and a chance to voice any concerns. These sessions are to provide you with a greater level of accountability and to allow you to fully reap the benefits of this project. (This is also the perfect opportunity for you to learn how to take your hifdh to the next level, especially for those participating in our highly anticipated ISoc Quran Competition!)

Our time at university is a unique blessing that we have been entrusted with and it is THE time for us to engage more with our deen and cultivate our relationship with Allah swt.
Our years here are limited and it’s only a matter of time before we graduate and get caught up in the world of work and responsibilities. What better way to use this time than to be a preserver of the greatest gift given to mankind; The Qur’an.

May Allah grant us all the honour of being a preserver of this gift. Ameen.
