Thank you for your interest in MITCH Charter School. We are a K-5 public school sponsored by the Tigard-Tualatin School District. We accept applications for students that reside within as well as outside of the Tigard-Tualatin district.
If you have more than one child applying, you need to fill out a separate application for each.Kindergarteners
MUST be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2025. We can not make exceptions for this rule.
Please plan on attending the Prospective Parent
Information Night at MITCH as a part of the application process.IMPORTANT DATES:*** February 19, 2025 - Prospective Parent Informational Night

If you are not able to attend on February 19th, please call our secretary MaryEllen Rasmussen at 503-639-5757 or send an email to
schooloffice@mitchcharterschool.org. Our admin team will resume giving group tours after school hours approximately once a month. That schedule will be finalized soon after the lottery.
*** March 4, 2025 - Applications Due for Lottery, must be submitted by 11:59pm
*** March 5, 2025 - Kindergarten through 5th grade Lottery will take place at MITCH Charter School at 5pm. You may be present for the lottery, but it is not required as it will be streamed online (link will be sent that morning to families participating in the lottery).
*** March 6, 2025 - Parents will be notified via email to either offer a seat or let them know their student is on the waiting list.
*** March 20, 2025 - A required $100 non-refundable activity fee deposit and all required documentation is due as part of accepting a seat offered March 6.
If a seat is offered, families have 48 hours to reply to the email to accept or relinquish the seat. Failure to confirm acceptance within 48 hours or provide the activity fee deposit and required documentation by the due date is deemed a decision by parents not to enroll the student for the 2025-2026 school year, and the school will contact the next student on the waiting list.
All applications received after midnight March 5, 2025 will be placed on the grade level waitlist based on the time the application was received.
