Program Description (revised): We will provide an overview of the gifted identification process, ALPs, and different ways schools are working to meet the needs of our gifted learners. Parents will leave ready to positively impact this process for their children, their schools, and themselves.
Additionally, this program will cover some vital information for parents and caregivers of gifted children including terminology, common traits and myths of the gifted, asynchronous development, and underachievement. Whether you are just getting started on your journey to understanding giftedness or if you have been on the journey for some time, we look forward to having you join us.
