Purposes of processing The personal data provided by the users are exclusively used for internal purposes of the c-glors team to monitor data diffusion, figure out the type of researchers who access the code and identify the purposes the data are used for.
Consequence of refusal If the user fails to provide data, we won't be able to grant access to download the data.
Data processing methods The provided data shall be used by means of computer and data transmission equipment, with the sole purpose of providing the requested service. For this reason, data will only be stored for a period not exceeding 5 years, after which all data will be deleted.
Data controller The "Data Controller" is the c-glors team. The data processing related to the web services provided by this website is mainly carried out at the CMCC Foundation headquarters by the appointed data processors. The above-mentioned data is not transferred to any third parties. Data processor When required by maintenance activities concerning any technological issues of the website, data connected to the code download service can be processed by persons who have previously been entrusted with the maintenance as data processors, according to Article 28 of EU Regulation 2016/679. Without prejudice to the above, users’ data will not be disclosed.
Rights of the data subjects Data subjects have the right to obtain at any time confirmation of the existence of such data and to know the content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration, updating, or correction (Art. 7 of the Personal Data Protection Code and Art. 11-12 of EU Regulation 2016/679). According to the articles above, users have the right to request the cancellation, anonymization or blocking of data processed in breach of law, as well as objecting the processing in any case for legitimate reasons. Requests shall be submitted by e-mail to privacy@cmcc.it In appropriate cases, the data subject is also entitled to file a claim to the Personal Data Protection Authority, as the competent supervisory authority in accordance with the procedures set out in the Regulation.
