Sadly due to illness and work commitments, tonight's event has been postponed until 2022.
The "Cosmic Cabaret" aims is to create a fun and informal evening where together we can explore science-faith ideas by listening to a host of fascinating talks. Think of it as a mash up of a TED conference and an open mic night where everyone is welcome. Speakers range from experienced communicators who want to try out some new material through to those just dipping their toes into doing talks and are looking for a safe and encouraging space. Expect to see novel science demonstrations, hear amazing stories & research, and ponder some new ideas.
You're welcome to watch but we'd love you to participate as a presenter. The next event is over Zoom and is on Tues 7th Dec at 8pm (GMT). Finishing by 9:30pm.
The event is being hosted by Matt Pritchard from the 'God and the Big Bang' project.

Guidance for speakers:
1) Be kind. We want everyone to end the event feeling better than when they began.
2) Choose a topic that has some crossover between science/faith/philosophy.
3) This isn't an academic conference. Please aim the talk at a non-specialist audience who may not be familiar with your topic or terminology. An ideal level to pitch it at is 6th form (16-18 years old).
4) Each speaker will have 5 minutes before we have a short discussion and swap over acts. Less is more.
5) Screen sharing of visuals and multiple cameras are fine. Please only use these if you're confident in controlling the technology whilst speaking and have sufficient internet speed.
