Application to Midway Alternative High School for the 2025-2026 School Year

Midway Alternative High School is a "choice school" for students who are at least 16 years old, is considered at-risk, and who live within Canyon ISD district. Eligibility depends on your student meeting at least one at-risk indicator set by the State of Texas.

You will first need to complete this online application and then schedule a pre enrollment conference. During the pre enrollment conference, the counselor will review the student's transcript, and needs of the student to ensure that Midway is a good fit for the student. Please do Canyon ISD online registration asap for your home campus (Canyon, Randall, or West Plains) if you get accepted to Midway it will flip over to Midway.  If the student is accepted into Midway, then a start date will be set. 

Students- Before applying to Midway, please speak with your parent or guardian about your interest in coming to Midway. Both student and parent must be at pre-enrollment conference. 

Pre- enrollment conferences for the 2025-26 school year will start taking place at the begining July 28th You will schedule your pre-enrollment conference at the end of this application. Please make sure that you schedule it.
