LiabilityThe applicant and any associated organization will assume all risks associated with their event and hold harmless Pride Winnipeg Festival Inc., its board of directors, agents, and volunteers against any claim whatsoever. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your acceptance of my community event, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release all sponsors, their representatives, and successors, and any individual or group associated with this event from all claims and liabilities of any kind arising from participation in this event.AdvertisingIf approved for official community event status your event will be advertised in the community events section of our website (www.pridewinnipeg.com) and Pride Guide. Events that are in conflict with a Pride Winnipeg Signature Event will not be permitted to purchase advertisement in any Pride Winnipeg publication.Best Practices. The following is not legal advice but simply best practices that should be followed with management of an event. Ensure you have general liability insurance for your event to protect yourself and your organization from legal action resulting from your event. Ensure you have the required licenses and permits for your event.
