2018 Truman San Diego Memorial Day Rose Ceremony
Please join the Truman Center for National Policy and the Truman National Security Project San Diego Chapter for the fourth annual #TruMemorial Sunrise Rose Drop. We will begin with a quick program including an opportunity for participants to share their story about a friend or loved one (whether military veteran or frontline civilian) who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. All are welcome to attend but you MUST RSVP if you plan to attend, even if you have a military ID. Your confirmation email will come closer to the event and will contain parking and transit information.

When: Memorial Day, 5/28/2018 at sunrise (5:30am). Please don't be late. Plan to arrive between 4:45 and 5:00
Where: Rosecrans National Cemetery 1800 Cabrillo Memorial Drive San Diego, CA 92106
Who: Elected officials, community leaders, veterans, gold star families, and YOU!
What: A few short stories followed by the distribution of 50,000 roses throughout the ceremony.
Why: San Diego has a robust military community with so many families willing to sacrifice for our nation. This morning is a time to reflect on that sacrifice and that of those who have given their lives for our nation, in and out of uniform.
