STEM in the Rockies - October 4-5
The Montana Learning Center has teamed up with Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks to bring you a unique opportunity to be on the forefront of STEM education right here in Montana! Come and learn about engaging hands-on curricula that will excite you and your students about aquatic invasive species, a vastly growing threat to Montana's watersheds.

Teachers who participate in STEM in the Rockies - Aquatic Invasive Species Workshop will receive 20 Montana Office of Public Instruction renewal units and an array of biology-themed activities that can be done with their students. Room and board is also provided free of charge for participants at the Montana Learning Center.

Space is limited to only 20 participating STEM teacher leaders who teach in the formal classroom setting in Montana, so apply today! Applications are due September 14th. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance shortly after the application deadline.

The STEM in the Rockies - Aquatic Invasive Species Workshop is proudly designed and delivered by fellow Montana teachers. This opportunity is led by award-winning science teachers Kate Mattern and Ryan Hannahoe. Support for this opportunity is provided by Montana DNRC, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks, Lewis and Clark Conservation District (Grant Sponsor), Watershed Education Network, and Flathead Lake Biological Station.

Eligibility: To apply for this opportunity at the Montana Learning Center at Canyon Ferry Lake, all applicants must be a teacher of a STEM subject(s) at a school in Montana.
