Greensboro Bound Artist Residencies
We are seeking resident artists who will create art that documents, portrays, and enters conversation with the Greensboro Bound Literary Festival, to be held 17-19 May 2019. Before submitting your application, please refer to the overview of the Greensboro Bound Artist Residency to make sure we're the right fit for you.
Resident artists will be sponsored by the Greensboro Bound Literary Festival, and they will be part of the festival itself. Artists must be able to create work among attendees on location at the festival, using materials and equipment to be furnished by the artist.

Two candidates will be selected to serve independently as resident artists, each for a term of one day. Each resident artist will receive a $350 stipend and will be furnished with a festival credential that identifies them as festival personnel. Travel expenses will be the sole responsibility of the artist. No application fee is required.

Each resident artist will maintain possession of the physical work produced during the residency. Greensboro Bound maintains the right to obtain digital reproductions of work created during the residency and use that work in advertorial or informational representations of the festival.

The application process is now open and will remain open until 11:59 PM, 5 April 2019. Applications will be reviewed by the following committee: Devon McKnight, from Center for Visual Arts; Gui Portel, from Elsewhere; and Andrew Saulters, from Greensboro Bound. Notification will be made by email in late April 2019.
