Rockford Public Schools Athletics Inducts several individuals and/or teams into the Athletic Hall of Fame each year. The 2024 Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony will be held in July of 2024. The four HOF categories are Athlete, Coach, Service Award and Team. The criteria are that the individual athletes be former Rockford Public Schools students who achieved tremendous success in his/her high school career. Coaches must have had tremendous success as a coach for one or more RPS teams. Service Award recipients are any volunteer/educator/advocate who has made a valuable impact in athletics in Rockford Public Schools. Recognized teams may be any RPS 205 varsity team that celebrated success both locally and at the statewide or national level. Nominators are encouraged to keep nominating their choices every year. To nominate someone for the 2024 awards, please fill out the following information. This year’s award winners will be announced and notified in February of 2024.
