This festival is very special - most workshops, light buffet suppers and refreshments are covered in a simple season or day ticket. Attendees can choose from three simultaneous streams throughout the day and then come together for special evening events. Everyone is encouraged to volunteer for a short time to help the festival run smoothly and to keep ticket prices down. Presenters are to supply their own (optional) presentation handouts and attempt to keep kits priced at or below $10 per person. Presenters will be reimbursed for the kits the week following the festival - please email an invoice with your banking details after the festival to

We have booked all the rooms at Canberra Baptist Church in Kingston for pre-festival half and full daytime workshops on Thursday 20 April 2017 followed by more practical shorter workshops (ie. theatre, hair, music, song and costume) and sessions programmed for the Friday-Sunday at the Albert Hall. A "Meet the Presenter" welcome potluck evening has been scheduled for Thursday evening at the Canberra Baptist Church when you will also receive any last-minute presenter information and your registration packs and name badges.

Free parking passes will be given to all presenters, volunteers and musicians to park close to the Albert Hall before 8.30am. We will be opening the gates at 5pm each day. If you wish to use the car during the day there are pay carparks near the Hyatt.

Please make sure your application includes fellow presenters. If you did not mention any other people in your application but require assistance we can help you out in the following ways:
1. We are happy to provide complimentary session tickets depending on when your presentation or performance is scheduled.
2. If a team member wishes to attend the whole festival they are invited to purchase a Volunteer ticket and will NOT have to do any volunteering other than helping at your workshop.
3. If a performance team is teaching a half/full day pre-festival workshop on Thursday 20 April and then performing and/or presenting during the festival we are happy to provide complimentary season tickets as long as your team is finalised by the end of November and all members have booked their ticket online.
4. If you need help we can also ask one of our volunteers to assist as long as you let us know asap so we can add the position to our volunteer register.

Warmest Regards,
Aylwen Gardiner-Garden
