Specialization will work like electives do at the Middle School. Your student will rank/order all of the arts offerings so that he/she can be placed in one preferred art form for the first semester and another high ranking preference for the second semester. Students may not take the same art form for both semesters. Students involved in talented programs (TAM, TAV, TAT) will automatically be enrolled in their art form one day per week for the entire year in addition to the two classes they select.
Preferences will be time stamped as submissions come in, and the time of submissions could affect your child’s placement.  PLEASE HELP YOUR CHILD CONSIDER THIS CHOICE CAREFULLY. IT WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE TO CHANGE COURSE SELECTIONS ONCE CLASSROOM PLACEMENTS ARE MADE.
