Community Snake Handling Workshop Application
Register here for the community snake handling workshop in San Luis Obispo on Sunday, June 9, with a field trip to Montaña de Oro State Park from 10-12 and a workshop at Cal Poly from 1-5pm. If you are accepted into the workshop, I will send you an invoice for payment online.

This workshop includes:
- a field trip to Montaña de Oro State Park, with a chance to see rattlesnakes in the wild
- a seminar on local snakes, focusing on the Western Rattlesnake
- printed materials about local snakes
- comprehensive information on snake safety in the local outdoors
- dog safety information
- hands-on training on safe rattlesnake capture, transport, and release using live rattlesnakes
- a snake handling certification certificate
Registration fee is $250. Partial scholarships are available for those with financial need.
