Queer Birth Project Microgrant Application
NOTICE: DUE TO LACK OF FUNDS, MICROGRANTS ARE PAUSED FOR A SHORT TIME. YOU ARE WELCOME TO APPLY, JUST BE AWARE THAT NO GRANTS WILL BE MADE UNTIL MID TO LATE OCTOBER. WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE PAUSE AND ARE WORKING HARD TO RAISE FUNDS.
This form is for queer birth workers to apply for a microgrant from the Queer Birth Project's Microgrant Fund in order to ease financial hardship due to the Coronavirus pandemic. If you are a queer birth worker and experiencing an inability to work, money shortfalls, or unexpected bills due to the pandemic, please fill out the following form to apply for a microgrant.
Funds will be triaged according to community marginalization and urgency of need. The amount distributed will be dependent on fundraising capabilities.
You will be able to apply and receive a grant more than once, but priority will be given to those who have not yet received a grant from Queer Birth Project. Applications are due on the 12th and 28th of each month, and decisions will be made on the 14th and the 30th of each month. Please allow for a few days grace period around these dates.
