Tucson Community  Mutual Aid Volunteer Sign-up
Thank you!! This is a live document that will continue to change and update as we move forward. SHARE SHARE!

We are coordinating food and supply drop offs to people's front doors. Please use this form if this is your area and you would like to assist making deliveries. As schools are closing down, we are encouraging families to seek child care support within their networks with people they trust. However, there may be other groups in Tucson filling this need, if this is something you would like to assist with please ask and we can figure out more information to connect.

We are an all-volunteer grassroots group operating in Tohono O'Odham land, Chukson, and Pascua Yaqui land, or also known as Tucson, AZ. We are prioritizing folks who are sick, disabled, quarantined without pay, elderly, undocumented, queer, Black, Indigenous, and/or people of color -- including those displaced from Tucson to the nearby areas. Thank you for your patience and grace. We are guiding ourselves by ancestral knowledge and experiences. We are using the guidelines and  resources that were created and being used as a model in Seattle, WA.

If you want and feel comfortable, please color code your home or space as follows:
(Place them in visible spaces as front doors or windows)

In the near future, we are considering expanding the types of mutual aid we offer. These might include transportation, emotional support, household assistance, dog walking, petsitting, etc. Please note access details when possible, like: are you able to be scent-free (http://thinkbeforeyoustink.com/howtogofragrancefree.html)? Do you have a wheelchair accessible van? Do you have space for domestic survivors?
Thank you again for taking time to fill out a support form! We will contact you if and when we match you with a request. There are currently many times more volunteers than requests (thank you!!) so not everyone will be connected through us. You're encouraged to organize your own support networks, too!     Drawing from the brilliance, love and creativity we have for each other and looking to learn from those showing solidarity globally, including those in Wuhan, China, we aim to cultivate a politics of autonomy, solidarity, and mutual aid within a long-term, multi-generational horizon of decolonial, anti-capitalist, feminist, queer, and disability liberation. Close all prisons, juvies and detention centers now!
