To be part of the Hazon Seal, Jewish institutions must commit to:
1. Confirm executive support for Seal participation & designate a Seal liaison (ideally a staff member) 2. Pay a Sliding Scale Fee to Hazon to Offset Program Cost - Fee can be reduced or waived if cost is a barrier to participation. ** Note: Fee does not apply for sites in the Detroit area in 2017.** 3. Publicize Seal participation internally and to your broader community by using the Seal logo in communications and through a public announcement by an institutional leader. 4. Form a Green Team that meets regularly 5. Complete at least 1 of the 3 Hazon Seal audits (seal.hazon.org/audit) 6. Complete, or make measurable progress on, at least 3 substantive sustainability projects 7. Participate in four webinars throughout the year 8. Participate in at least two consulting calls with Hazon staff 9. Report to Hazon staff on progress and challenges 10. At year’s end, commit to new sustainability projects for 2018
