An introduction to Research Data Management
Research Data Management (RDM) covers the planning, collecting, organising, managing, storage, security, backing up, preserving, and sharing of data. RDM aims to make the research process as efficient as possible and meet expectations and requirements of the university, research funding agencies as well as reputable publishers.
The UJ Library has acquired a data repository to support open research and data sharing. It is a multidisciplinary repository where users can make all of their datasets available in a citable, shareable and discoverable manner.
