Program registration is not complete for programs that have a cost associated with them until payment is received or other financial arrangements are made. Deadline for registrations is September 13th unless otherwise indicated.

As with all of our programming, if cost is prohibitive, please reach out to executive director Rev. Gini Norris-Lane at ukirk@ukirk.org to discuss possible grants, scholarships, or alternative payment arrangements.

With the guidance of a trained spiritual director, these groups of UKirk Network Ministers will meet monthly to deepen their relationship with the Divine and notice where God is moving in their lives.

Developing an Ecosystem for Social Change

For any social justice movement to succeed, author Deepa Iyer believes they need to be led by a diverse group of people with a variety of gifts/roles. Guided by her book "Social Change Now: A Guide for Reflection and Connection," Iyer will share the 10 roles every social change movement needs for long-term success, as well as how you and your students can discern which role they are called to play.

Enneagram & Leadership with Sophie Maness

You and your students are invited to join Sophie Maness for this 90 minute virtual workshop to learn more about the 9 Enneagram types, their leadership styles, and how they interact with one another in community.

This cohort of collegiate ministry professionals will meet the first week of the month from October-December with Sophie Maness to reflect more deeply about how their leadership style in light of their Enneagram type.

Jesus and Justice Advocacy Conference, Charlotte, NC
October 16-18, 2024

The Presbyterian Office of Public Witness and Presbyterian Ministry at the United Nations are inviting college students, seminarians, and young adults in or near Charlotte to attend the second annual conference.  Registration for the October 18-20, 2024 event is free and will be held at the Union Presbyterian Seminary, Charlotte Campus. This conference benefits college students and seminarians who want to learn effective ways to stand up for causes they believe in, build networks and engage with advocacy topics in meaningful ways.

Circle of Trust Retreat, Nashville, TN
February 16-18, 2025

Utilizing Parker Palmer's book "A Hidden Wholeness: The Journey Towards and Undivided Life," this retreat will teach UKirk professionals about the Circle of Trust methodology and how to use it to facilitate discernment groups with their students. Rev. Michelle Scott-Huffman (Ekklesia, Missouri State University) is the retreat leader is a trained facilitator through the Center for Courage & Renewal.

Cost is $95, and space is limited to 15 participants. A $45 non-refundable deposit is due by September 13th to hold your spot, with the remaining $50 due by December 5th. Participants will cover their own travel costs. 

Participants must cancel by January 15th to receive $50 back.
