18th Annual Cambodia Town Parade and Culture Festival (Parade Entry) 
Theme: "We Are Stronger When We Celebrate Together"

RULES:
  1. All entries should have a positive theme that respects diversity, is non-controversial, and does not advocate any political candidate, proposition, or position.
  2. The Cambodia Town Parade must by completed and contain all necessary information for parade entry.
  3. A completed script is required for all participating groups.
  4.  All participants must be uniformed, costumed, and/or appropriately attired.
  5. An entry is only for one organization with one identification banner.
  6. Floats must be self-propelled and decorated with fire-retardant materials.
  7. Forward motion must be maintained throughout the parade route.  No side-line handshake or physical contact with spectators is allowed.
  8. No alcoholic beverages allowed in the parade - STRICTLY ENFORCED.
  9. Absolutely, no solicitation is allowed along the parade route.
  10. All participants must sign and submit the Consent/Waiver or Parental Consent/Waiver of Liability with the entry application.
  11. All entries in the parade must be approved by the Parade Committee.
  12. Only those entries stated on the application at the time of submission will be allowed to proceed along the parade route.
  13. The Parade Committee accepts no responsibility for false statements made by applicants or entrants.
  14. For the safety of parade attendees and participants, throwing candy or any objects into the crowd is strictly prohibited at any time.  Please ensure your group members are informed.  Anyone found throwing candy or objects into the crowd will be removed from the parade.
  15. Violations are subject to disqualification.
  16. All floats must follow the City of Long Beach Float Guidelines.
  17. The parade will proceed regardless of RAIN or other adverse weather conditions.
  18. The Cambodia Town Parade are due by Saturday, March 14, 2026.
NOTE:
  • Please state in your application EXACTLY what will make up the entry (i.e.. floats, walkers, cars)
  • To have your organization be recognized, please complete the SCRIPT FOR ANNOUNCER
