Furry Petz, LLC: Event Pet Care Agreement, Policies, and Instructions
This Agreement for Performance of Services (“Agreement”) is made between Furry Petz In-Home Pet Care, LLC ("Furry Petz") and Client. Client will be responsible for services scheduled and rendered; should unforeseen fees be incurred, client is responsible for repayment to Furry Petz and/or associates within five (5) days of invoice being issued (receipt of expense will be provided via text, email, or mail). Unforeseen fees are, but not limited to, extended travel, added pet care on the day of, or extended wait time beyond what was scheduled, and other expenses to the handling, maintenance, transport, and/or care of the pet which may include handling fees, resource replacement costs, additional mileage, and/or necessary sustenance's or items.
IMPORTANT: We HIGHLY recommend having the pet(s) part of the day be as condensed as possible. Meaning...
if the pet is going to be in photos please get their photos done as close to the other events as possible. Long wait periods cause pets to become antsy and they're more likely to cause a ruckus even if their pet caregiver is trying to entertain them. Sometimes all the best efforts just aren't enough of a distraction. Depending on the pets disposition we will have a 30-60 minute window BEFORE the pet is needed just to tire the pet out so s/he is less likely to cause an unexpected wrinkle in the days plans.
I hereby give Furry Petz use of my and my pet’s combine image or my pet's own image on the company’s social media pages, marketing material, and/or website. Client also agrees to inform photographers, videographers, event planners, food vendors, and any other necessary event personnel of the pets presence to ensure the pet's inclusion in the special day's events. Furry Petz is not responsible for damages to guests person or property; this may be those who come near the pet without verbal permission or those who may unknowingly encourage unwanted behavior (barking, biting, jumping, etc.) which may or may not result in property damage to their person or that nearby.
By scheduling an event pet care service with Furry Petz you are ensuring your pet will be present, and absent, for your special day when prearrange. During the pre-specified events, we will transport and care for your pet as often as needed and stick to the detailed instructions. Failure of the Client, or their chosen spokesperson, to communicate fully and in a timely manner is not the responsibility of Furry Petz or associates. We will make every attempt to contact the client or their chosen spokesperson BEFORE we take assumed actions to best care for the pet(s) in our care.
Event services provided:
1. Guaranteed a second, complimentary Meet N Greet at least 5 days leading up to the event. This will be only the chaperone & pet. The pet owner & chaperone can have a phone meeting to finalize the pet care itinerary, special day details, and verify positive reception by the pet for the expected events at another time.
2. Coordination of fellow staffers, photographers, videographers, and other personnel as specified by the Client (e.g. talking with the photographer to get pictures of the pet, talking to family members to ensure on time que marks).
3. We will transport your pet(s) by taking them safely to and from the event (rehearsal, photoshoot, ceremony and/or reception).
4. Complete watchfulness during the scheduled block of time to ensure the pet is not left unattended. If there is more than one pet involved we will try to ensure additional personnel are available as agreed beforehand.
5. We can dress and accessorize the pet to make sure s/he looks the part (costumes/clothing NOT provided by Furry Petz). The day of...your pet caregiver will be wearing khakis or slacks with a neat blouse or a button-up shirt and dark tennis shoes. This way they can easily maneuver with the pets as needed while not looking too dressed down.
6. Accompaniment to ensure your pet is where they need to be, when they need to be. This may be standing outside the venue, waiting in a certain room, etc until the necessary persons give us the cue for the pet to be where needed.
7. Special Event Duties do NOT include walking the pet down the aisle or standing in the photos with the pet. This will be the responsibility of family or friends.
8. Chaperone/Supervision to provide love, entertainment, and other necessities for your pet when s/he is not required for the rehearsal, photoshoot, ceremony and/or reception. This may include taking the pet for an extended walk, allowing him or her to take a water break, or taking him or her for a drive to decompress between events.
9. Other Necessities: feeding, walking, watering, potty breaks, basic fluff/deshed brushing (excessive matting should be taken care of by a professional groomer before the event), and pet waste disposal. If you would like for us to take, and pick up, the pet from the groomers we can do so in the week leading up to your event or the day of. We can schedule this on your behalf and we simply ask you prepay the groomers fees before pick up.
For the clients that want an extended experience, we can create a customized package to allow you to have us at multiple events. We can even combine our other services like pet sitting and overnight stays before, during, or after the special event. To be eligible you must complete a New Client Form for Pet Care if you haven't previously done so.
Tips are highly appreciated and will be directed to the pet caregiver(s) who takes care of your pet during the associated events. When paying an invoice, you may send more than the amount due by selecting "edit" and the extra will be given to your pet's caregiver. Cash tips may be left on the counter with a note indicating "tip for Furry Petz". After returning home, you may also choose to send us a tip through one of the alternative payment options with a note attached saying "Tip".
By completing this form the Client understands the deposit fee assessed was to book the necessary slots and will be deducted from the total bill. Event deposits are fully refundable for credit as long as notice has been given to cancel the scheduled visit(s) - see website for policy. .
