Music Lesson Sign-Up Form

Students receive 24 lessons during the academic year: Nine in the Fall Term, nine in the Winter Term, and six in the Spring Term. The fee for lessons is $70 per 45-minute lesson, billed on a per-term basis.

Students will automatically be enrolled for lessons each term unless they reach out in writing to the Music Program Coordinator (sswersey@deerfield.edu) two weeks prior to the beginning of a new term to discontinue lessons.

Students enrolled in Honors Band class, Honors Vocal Ensemble class, and Chamber Music class (all sections) are required to take private lessons and not be charged for lessons. If a student is enrolled in one of this classes, they will be automatically enrolled in private lessons for the entire year and will not be billed for lessons. Those students do not need to fill out this form.
