Statutory Bars to Asylum and Withholding of Removal in Children’s Asylum Cases
CGRS is excited to announce the release of a new practice advisory, “Statutory Bars to Asylum and Withholding of Removal in Children’s Asylum Cases.” This comprehensive practice advisory provides an explanation of each statutory bar and offers suggested arguments and strategies to consider if a particular bar is at issue in a client’s case. The advisory also includes a case chart and screening guide. While this practice advisory is geared towards child applicants, many of the principles apply similarly to adults.
If you would like to request a copy of this declaration, please fill out the following information by July 10, 2018. After this date, the practice advisory will remain available through CGRS’s regular technical assistance program.
