The Jackson Family HBCU Book Award is established to support graduating seniors of Drew Charter School who have chosen to continue their academic journey at a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) in the Fall of 2026.
This award recognizes students who exemplify academic achievement, leadership, resilience, and a commitment to community—values that reflect both the proud legacy of HBCUs and the spirit of excellence cultivated at Drew Charter School.
The Jackson Family HBCU Book Award is designed to help offset the cost of textbooks and academic materials during the student’s first year of college. By investing in essential educational resources, the Jackson Family aims to ease the financial burden of higher education and empower scholars to begin their HBCU experience prepared and confident.
