Summer is just around the corner and we are all very anxious for the warm weather to arrive and the excitement to begin with our seventeenth annual summer camp! St. Michael has always been a great place for kids to have fun with their friends in a relaxed, supervised, Christian environment.

Your child’s spot will be secure when all ESC fees from the school year are current, and we receive the registration form and fee.

Activities are planned twice a week around the Louisville area and will take place every Tuesday and Thursday. There is always a possibility an activity may change due to unforeseen circumstances. Please look for e-mails, and read the white board daily when dropping off and picking up for these updates. A schedule and permission form will be sent out prior to the first day of camp.

School age children will be broken down into three groups; each group will be based on the child’s grade. The lead teacher will communicate with parents weekly regarding activities, schedule changes, permission forms, behavior, etc.

Our school cafeteria is closed through the summer. Please send a lunch with your child daily unless our activity includes a meal that day. We will not be able to refrigerate or warm items up, please plan appropriately. A breakfast snack and afternoon snack will be provided.

There are a few things parents and kids will need to know before the summer begins:

• Immunization certificates are required for new children and must be received within 10 days after your registration is turned in.
• We are not responsible for any items brought from home. This includes
all electronics and all accessories. If you choose to allow your child to bring belongings from home please be sure they are labeled.
• We will be closed July 4th and July 27th.
• Last day of summer camp is August 10th.
• Payments are due no later than Friday of the week of attendance.
• Please be sure your child is dressed appropriately for field trips.
• All fees must be current prior to your child starting Summer Camp.

PRESCHOOLERS WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

• Labeled change of clothes in sealed bag.
• 2 inch nap mat
• Blanket and Pillow (any size)
• Crib Sheet (for nap mat)
• One sleeping buddy if desired.
• We encourage pre-school age children to leave all toys and belongings at home.
*Summer Registration will only be accepted if all school year fees are up to date.
*A registration form must be completed on EACH child.
