Vendor Application for The Market at Lakewood Ranch
Welcome to the 2nd season of The Market at Lakewood Ranch! Last year was our inaugural season and it was a smashing success. We helped create a new “night market” trend, recognized by Sarasota Magazine as “the best new market trend.” Over 16,000 patrons came out to support our local vendors. The Market is promoted heavily through print, online and in-person advertising channels and we expect an even larger turn-out this season!

The Market is operated and supported by Schroeder-Manatee Ranch, Inc., the developer of Lakewood Ranch. It was created to enhance our community’s connection with local food and provide a weekly family outing destination.

For the 2018/19 season, The Market will be located at the beautiful Sarasota Polo Club, just South of the intersection of University Parkway and Lorraine Road. The Market will include weekly live music and weekly programming with community organizations.

The Market hours are 3:00 - 7:00 PM on Wednesdays, December through April (December 5 – April 24). Vendors may begin market set up as early as 12:00 PM and may begin break down no earlier than 7:00 PM. Vendor booths must be set up by 2:30 PM.

Our rigorous selection process includes a careful consideration of vendor practices, products, and volume, as well as balancing the right product mix of top-quality foods and artisanal products to serve our customers.

VEDOR REQUIREMENTS & PRICING
The weekly fee of $25 per 10' booth space is payable in monthly increments and due no later than the 1st Wednesday of each month during Market season. Should you wish to pay in advance for the full market season, the booth space rate of $25 will be discounted to $20 (which equates to a savings of $105) and due December 5th. Invoices will not be sent, and it is the responsibility of each vendor to pay market fees on time.

VENDOR INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
Vendors are responsible for obtaining all legally required licenses and permits. Liability insurance must cover all market dates and must have limits of at least $100,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 aggregate. Insurance must name "Schroeder Manatee Ranch, Inc. and its Affiliates" as additional insured.

Questions about completing this form can be directed to themarket@lakewoodranch.com. Due to the volume of submissions, please allow a minimum of 72 hours for a response. Applications of those not selected for this season will be kept on file for consideration in the future.

In the future, The Market will find its final home at Waterside Place, Lakewood Ranch’s newest town center which will be located south of University Parkway between Lakewood Ranch Boulevard and Lorraine Road. Waterside Place ground breaking will occur in October 2018, and will take approximately 24 months to complete. Once complete, The Market will move to this vibrant town center.
