2) Player Information
Player registration must be complete by submitting this completed online form no later than SUNDAY 30th April 2017. Teams will be able to register up to 30 players, although only 14 players may play in a game the night, in accordance with FIT regulations.
A player can only be registered in one mixed team and one single sex teams for the league. Drafting of players from one team into another is something that isn't encouraged in the summer league and is only allowed where a team has not enough players to field a team for a game to allow that game take place on the night. Where drafting in players is required to satisfy the above, then the following rules will apply:
a) A max of 2 additional players may be drafted in to ensure a team has 6 players to start a game but the GTA committee representative and the opposition team must be notified by the team who have drafted in extra players to make up the 6.
b) The GTA committee representative will then decide whether or not the game will be played on the night or if the game is to be forfeit (6-0 win against team forfeiting the game).
Player Registration will open this year for a second window between June the 9th and June the 24th to allow teams to register additional players ( still within the limit of 30 in a squad) or move players between squads.
Please note that the committee may consider sanctions for any team who flout the squad rules.
