There is a widely shared sense among PLATO members – both men and women – that American boys and men are on a downward trajectory. The metrics on education, family, work, societal status, etc. all tell the same story. And there is a growing literature about this story. If true, what are the causes? And how can we work toward a solution? Baxter Richardson and Tim Otis will co-facilitate this one-time discussion group, and if there is interest, the group could meet again. To register, complete and submit the form below by 12pm on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. Enrollment limited to 20 men.
