Outstanding Administrator Award
PAMLE seeks to honor administrators who value, understand and support effective middle level education that promotes powerful learning for young adolescents.
Criteria: * Understands how young adolescents learn
* Champions middle level education
* Actively promotes middle level education
* Builds community support
* Supports and models effective middle level philosophy
* Encourages professional development of middle level best practices
The nominator, who must be from the same school district, must address in writing how the nominee meets the criteria stated above, in one thousand words or less.
The nominator must collect two letters of support, of not more than five hundred (500) words, from each of the following:
* An administrator or middle level teacher from within the system
* A student, parent or community member associated with
the middle school
Recognition: The Outstanding Administrator Award winner(s) will be recognized with an award plaque at the Monday luncheon at the PAMLE annual PDI. They will receive a full conference registration to our annual conference, be given a one-year PAMLE/AMLE Dual membership, and will be recognized on the PAMLE web site. (All other nominated administrators will receive a certificate at the PAMLE annual PDI.) Check the PAMLE web site for more conference information and to register the nominated administrator:
ALL Nominees MUST be members of PAMLE and application MUST be received on or before December 15.
PAMLE reserves the right to use names and images of award winners for publicity purposes.
