UNLEASH Europe Expert Expression of Interest Form
Across Europe, the built environment stands at the heart of a just green transition, defining how we live, move, and connect. Yet achieving sustainability requires new ways of thinking, collaborating, and reimagining how our cities are made and who they are made for.

From June 27 to July 4, 2026, UNLEASH Europe will bring together 200 young changemakers from all corners of the continent to Copenhagen for a week of co-creation, learning, and collaboration. Participants will work in cross-sector teams  across four themes to develop solutions that make Europe’s cities more circular, equitable, and livable.

Hosted in partnership with BLOXHUB, the Nordic hub for sustainable urbanization, the program will explore themes around equitable access to housing and infrastructure, circularity in building practices, and resilience in rapidly changing environments. 

Expert Information
Experts provide content-specific feedback and guidance within their thematic area of expertise, to talents during the UNLEASH Innovation Process. This is done during the:

  • Expert Session (June 30): Where you share expertise, inspiration and sector trends to support the teams Problem Framing and early ideating activities.
  • Solution Festival  (July 3): Where teams pitch their solutions, you provide constructive feedback and inspire the team to future action.

Practical Details
Location: BLOXHUB, Bryghuspladsen 8, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Dates: To join the Innovation Lab as an Expert, you need to be available for the Onboarding Session and either the Expert Session or Solutions Festival:
  • Onboarding Session on June 19 from 16:00-17:00 CET.
  • Expert Session on June 30 from 09:00 - 11:00 CET.
  • Solutions Festival on July 3 from 10:00 - 13:00 CET.
Costs: UNLEASH does not finance the participation of Experts in an Innovation Lab. Travels and accommodation in Copenhagen are at your own expense.
Form Information: The application takes approximately 1-2 hours to complete. All applicants will know the outcome of their application by June 10.
Expression of Interest Deadline: We are reviewing submissions on a rolling basis, so we recommend submitting as soon as possible. We will continue to accept submissions until May 31, 2026 , 23:59 CET.

Thematic Track: I understand that while UNLEASH is committed to aligning my interests to my  assigned Track for the Innovation Lab, UNLEASH cannot guarantee that I will be assigned my priority. I understand that a change of Tracks for the Innovation Lab isn't possible once I have been accepted to the program.
