Thank you for choosing to audition for part placement in the UIW Wind Ensemble.
All UIW, Alamo Colleges, other university students, and community members who have experience playing woodwind, brass, percussion, piano, or string bass instruments are eligible for membership and can register for MUEN 1185: Wind Ensemble (CRN 82666).
Auditions for chairs, part placement, and invitation to UIW Chamber Winds will be conducted virtually, with the exception of the percussion section, all prior to the first rehearsal of the semester.

Percussion/Other Instruments): January 16th, 2024 from 4-7PM in Seddon Recital Hall. (Continue for sign up sheet)
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
2 major scales (Concert F and Concert Db)
1 chromatic scale full range. (Starting on lowest note you can play staccato up, to highest note slurred down)
1 Excerpt (see attached)
