Hi everyone, my name is Allison Jasinski. I am a writer/poet in Superior, Colorado. After losing my home in the Marshall Fire, I began writing as a means to process my grief and trauma.
I'm coming to you because I have an idea! I'd like to write a piece collaboratively with my neighbors to capture our shared (yet unique to each of us) experience of trauma, healing, gratitude, and advice. I'd like this piece to honor what we've been through, thank the community for supporting us, and offer words of healing and hope for future communities impacted by fire.
To do so, I'm asking anyone who feels comfortable to complete this form. It's completely voluntary. From there, I'll take some creative liberties to use your input and experience to create a collective community piece of writing out of it that I will share out with you all!
