🌈 The Future Perfect Project (FPP) is a nationwide 501(c)(3) amplifying the voices of LGBTQ+ youth across the United States through high-quality creative programming and professional artistic mentorship. We believe the artistic expression of LBGTQ+ youth is a declaration of a better future for us all, one in which everyone is free to be themselves. 🎶 Future Perfect Records is our application-based residency program for LGBTQ+ singer-songwriters and producers, ages 16–22. Over the course of 12 months, selected applicants will explore the basics of songwriting and recording from queer music professionals, and work together to create a full-length concept album of original music to be distributed on all major platforms.
Past guest-facilitators include Hurray for the Riff Raff, JORDY, whatever mike, and Sienna Liggins. Previous cohorts have performed their songs at Lincoln Center, Joe's Pub, and Sofar Sounds.
