Visualization Mini-Course Registration Form

Oct 22, 10am-1pm Central time via Zoom. (Zoom sign-in is required, but free of charge).
The course will be taught by Drs. Prodanović and McClure and cover the visualization basics, as well as set up with Jupyter Notebook and Python notebooks that instruct them how to directly download or resample data from Digital Rocks Portal. While the course is geared to educated potential competitors in related Visualization Challenge (deadline Dec 1, 2020), there is no restrictions in participation in the course to anyone interested.
The content will assume background at the level of a junior student in engineering or sciences (some basic background in linear algebra - vectors, matrices and their 3D versions is required to handle 2D/3D visualization), but we will not restrict course attendance based on those concepts. We will use Python as a programming language in this course.
