YOUR APPLICATION IS IMPORTANT TO US
• Applications will be reviewed by the CCFMA Board of Directors which meets the third Tuesday of each month.
• You will be notified by Email as soon as your application has been reviewed.
• The Board reserves the right to limit the number of Vendors and/or sale of specific items to maintain a balanced market.
All products sold at the market must meet the “Sale-able Products” definition and be listed on the application. Market Manager approval is required before the sale of any items not included on a Vendor’s original application. Products NOT produced by the Vendor must be prominently labeled as to their origin.
Sale-able Products Definition: Only NH agricultural-based products will be sold, with exceptions if needed and approved by the Market Manager. At least 75 percent of produce and items listed on your application must be grown/made locally by the Vendor or a member of their family. Agricultural crafts; baked goods; dairy, fish, meat, poultry, and seafood products; eggs; fiber goods & crafts; flowers; fruits & berries; herbs; honey; jams & jellies; potted plants; processed foods; seeds; syrup; vegetables; and wood crafts & products are all acceptable.
• A copy of certificate of insurance must be submitted to the Market Manager prior to the start of the market season. (1 mil/per incident, 2 mil/aggregate)
• Vendors are responsible for complying with all applicable NH Dept of Agriculture regulations including licensing.
• Vendors selling by weight are expected to use certified scales.
• Vendors will prominently display their prices and label their products in accordance with applicable State law.
• Sale of products prior to the Market’s opening bell at 4:00 p.m. and after closing at 6:30 p.m. is prohibited.
HOW TO LABEL WHAT YOU SELL
We do our best to respect the specialties and the hard work of the vendors at our market, so please…
• If you didn’t grow or make a particular product, you must ask the Market Manager before you bring the product to market.
• If/when you get permission to bring this product, it needs to be labeled as to where the product was grown/made. ------> For example, Bob’s Fresh Farm in Bobstown, NH wants to sell corn that Bob did not grow, but his neighbor Clyde in Clydesville, NH, did. Bob needs to check with the Market Manager before bringing Clyde’s corn. If she says OK, then Bob needs to label the corn as “Clyde’s Corn, Clydesville, NH”.
HELP US KEEP THE MARKET RUNNING SMOOTHLY
• Vendors are responsible for being set up before the Market’s opening bell rings at 4:00 p.m. and should remain in place until the Market closes at 6:30 p.m.
• Vendor vehicles must be parked in designated spaces BEFORE the Market's opening bell. No vendor vehicles will be moved during Market hours for public safety reasons.
• Vendors must provide their own tables, tent/canopy, table coverings and signage, and must remove the same, and all trash, before leaving the Market.
KEEP US INFORMED

WHAT ABOUT THE WEATHER?
• Customers expect a full Market each week, so the Market will be held RAIN or SHINE.
• In case of truly severe weather, the Market Manager will decide whether or not the market will run
• Vendors will be contacted by a Board Member and advised of plans for Market cancellation or early closing.
• PLEASE be sure we have a reliable contact number for you! We also text...do you? Let us know!
WE ARE HERE TO HELP YOU
• There are always volunteers on market day to help our vendors set up and break down. We may be a small market, but we are friendly!
• If you need to leave your table for a short while, to answer a call of nature, or to head to the other end of the market to buy yourself a goodie, give the folks at the Market Info Table a heads up and we’ll cover for you.
• We accept credit and debit cards at the Market Info Table, in exchange for wooden tokens. Shoppers can use these tokens at your booth, and we will reimburse you THAT DAY.
THE MARKET MANAGER IS IN CHARGE
• The Market Manager will take complaints and make note of pricing issues that are detrimental to the spirit and intent of the Market Mission.
• To avoid price slashing toward the end of the market day, there will be no price changes allowed after the opening bell, unless approved by the Market Manager.
• Any Vendor not complying with the above rules will be issued a written warning; repeated violations may result in revocation of vending privileges.
• Rules are subject to change by a vote of the CCFMA Board.
