United Kingdom Government Camp 2020 lottery for tickets
#GovCamp is an unconference where the topics will be agreed by attendees on the day.

The theme is public sector digital, data, technology and operations.

It is run by volunteers (we).

This is a lottery
Take part in this lottery for a chance to get 1 of 200 tickets available for United Kingdom Government Camp 2020 - #ukgc20

We cannot guarantee you a place.

The lottery will close at 23:59 on Monday 4th November 2019.

We will:
* be creating a diverse and inclusive environment. To help us do this we are collecting some diversity data. This data is intended to give us a picture of our strengths, and identify areas where we can improve.
* take an even handed approach to gender identity ticketing. To help do that we have made this question mandatory.
* select 200 people at random to attend #ukgc20 on 18th January 2020
* ask you to claim your ticket if you have been successful
* reassign any unclaimed tickets
* reassign tickets if you can't come any more

This is what we do with the data:
* publish the results at an aggregate level without any identifiable information attached, for the lottery, tickets and attendees
* provide a lists of Twitter usernames on @UKGovcamp so that you connect with other people coming to #ukgc20
* create graphics with the Twitter usernames to promote #ukgc20

How do you describe your gender? (Select all that apply) *
Would you like to be a CampMaker and volunteer to help run #ukgc20 on 18th January? *
Do you have any specific dietary requirements? *
Would you find a bursary helpful? *
Although #GovCamp is free to attend, we know that free can still exclude people for example who have caring responsibilities or would find the cost of travel to London prohibitive. To make it possible for more people to attend, we have a limited number of bursaries available.
Would you find a crèche helpful? *
Last year we had a crèche to help those UKGovcampers out who may not be able to come because of childcare arrangements, and we plan to do so again this year.
