Social Emotional Learning in District 205 Stakeholder Survey
Please respond to our survey in order to help District 205's SEL Steering committee in our efforts to formulate a vision statement for our district, as well as creating learning opportunities in our classrooms for the coming years.
According to CASEL, "social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions."
CASEL is a resource that will be utilized in the process of formulating our goals and curriculum.
Although school buildings are not currently open due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, school workers, administrators, and educators are still active and working remotely on academics, SEL, and continued professional development. The Steering committee will continue to research and make recommendations during this time of Remote Learning as well as when schools are in session.
While completing this survey, please refer to time periods that school is in session. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback.
