[o11ycon '18] Observability Show & Tell
In modern distributed systems, innocuous surprises can cascade in catastrophic and unexpected ways. You can monitor for known-unknowns, but how do you confront unknown-unknowns? -- from mystery node failures and outage root causes to diagnosing why that one customer's latency is off the charts.

We are looking for short, sweet (and/or terrifying) tales of your favorite systems observability experience. Join us onstage at o11ycon!

Submit a lightning talk proposal about an investigation or observable that really drove home an important, deeply unexpected, or just plain interesting point about your systems. If you're selected, we'll bring you up on the o11ycon stage to share your findings.

Each Show & Tell will be capped at 3-5 minutes.

If you haven't spoken before, we're especially happy to receive your submission, and will provide you with the support you need to present. (Drop us a note under the "anything else" prompt.)

o11ycon is on August 2nd, 2018 in San Francisco, CA.

Submission deadline: Monday, July 23, 9AM PST
Notification of acceptance: Week of July 23, 2018
