For me, failure in meeting a goal occasionally triggers my defeatist monkey brain. The trail runs like 'why the fuck did I fail' > 'I messed showing up like I always do since the beginning of time' > 'Maybe it's not meant to be...I am not talented enough.' And then I sit in the corner and mull over other failures.
