Professional Film Set Opportunity!

Urban Media Arts will serve as a location for a short film. Second House Films and S1 Boston will be filming scenes for their psychological thriller set in a community access television station. In exchange for providing the location, the production crew will provide opportunities to aspiring filmmakers on set. This is your opportunity to shadow a professional film production crew member. 

Production Assistants 

There will also be two production assistant (PA) positions available. PAs are expected to have some level of filmmaking experience. Please send a link to your portfolio of previous work, noting the role(s) you took during the production of that work. 


Shadowing 

Shadowing opportunity will be selected by application. Professional experience in filmmaking is not required. Applicants are encouraged to include a portfolio of their creative work with their application. Applicants must be at least 16 years old. 


Behind The Scenes (BTS) 

Are you a documentarian at heart? We need a photographer to capture imagery during the day of production. Their work will be displayed during a community event, celebrating film making and UMA’s social media channels. 

This production takes place on Saturday, December 9 and Sunday, December 10, with planning/logistics time on Friday, December 8. Deadline to apply December 6.
