Stay home, Flatten the curve, and Learn and make art all at the same time!
Thank you for your interest in taking art classes online! This month, students will be creating a new project each week based on mastering the fundamental techniques every artist needs in order to develop more complicated work in the future. In addition, we will be exercising the creative muscle to release stress and redirect energy in a positive and constructive way. The elements of art are the key focus of our course, and major art figures, art movements and styles, and important art terms will be introduced to supplement your at-home art education. We will be exploring our domestic environment for inspiration and explore art as documentation, our own minds for expressive forms of art, and the great outdoors as reference to a place we hope to one day enjoy again.
Two class times will be made available: One in the afternoon for younger students that happens twice a week, and one evening class for older students and those working or can only commit to one class a week. Classes are beginner friendly and projects are cumulative.

Afternoon Class (All ages 9 and Up)
8 Classes / 2 Classes a week 90 Minute Class
Tues and Thurs (Must attend both) Class will be on Zoom
2pm-3:30pm PST
Donation Based (venmo @shananakim)
Normally this type of class would cost $25/class (One time payment of $200). With the current situation of global events, I understand that some people aren't working and may only be able to afford $6.25/class (One time payment of $50). Anything is acceptable.
