Eligibility Requirements for the Hall of Fame

  • Minimum of 15 years as a Kentucky Licensed member working or living in Kentucky

  • ​ Minimum at least 20 years of service in the profession.​

  • Nominated by a Kentucky Licensed member in Kentucky

  • All forms must be completed and returned to the KATS Hall of Fame Committee Chair by April 12th prior to the induction year.​

  • A Kentucky Licensed Athletic Trainer being nominated cannot solicit or influence the selection process.

  • A nominee is eligible for re-nomination if the previous nomination was unsuccessful.  All nominations will be kept on file by the Chair for three years.  If after three years, a candidate is not elected into the KATS Hall of Fame, the candidate must be re-nominated and a new application must be received by the Chair.

  • Made contributions to the profession of Athletic Training and its  advancement in the State of Kentucky
