Strong Cincinnati works to foster strong, connected communities. In 2017, Strong Cincinnati engaged adults in Madisonville in a process designed to help them identify their strengths and apply them to community projects. Through this first round of projects, Madisonville residents established a farmers market, placed strengths-based flags at John P. Parker School, turned abandoned lots into pocket parks, hosted healthy cooking classes, and encouraged curiosity by building chess tables throughout the neighborhood.
